Photography course will take place at the old railway station in Oetrange gare. The courses will be held on following dates:  Sunday 9. may, at 10.30. Thursday 20. may, at 20.00. Sunday 6 june, at 10.30. Sunday 13. June, at 10.30. Sunday 27 june, at 10.30.
Instructor is Patrick Jeanne.

Session 1 : The Camera

a. How does a camera take pictures (light, lens, sensor/film)
b. How does the camera influence the aspect of the photo
c. Different types of lenses, what they are good for and how best to use them

Session 2: Composition and Photographic Expression

a. Categories of photography: learning to define one's photographic objectives
b. How to compose a photo according to these objectives
c. A few important factors that make an effective picture

Session 3: Light

a. How does light affect a photo, different types of lighting
b. Using light instead of battling against it
c. Tips and tricks for best effect in different lighting conditions

Session 4: Introduction to Adobe photoshop

a. Basic functions to enhance a photo
b. Everything you should know about file formats and sizes
c. A review of various manipulation techniques

Session 5: Photo Trip:

Session 6: Introduction to Studio Photography

Price: 100 euro.

Each participant should have a digital camera and should submit photos in jpeg format in order to avoid compatibility problems.
